In summer 2016, Delta Glazing was commissioned by Colmore Tang to assist in the complete refurbishment of the windows at Wellington Building, Liverpool—all while keeping them in-situ. This extensive project involved removing paint and rust, applying specialist coatings in RAL-specific colours, replacing broken glass, and restoring faulty or missing window furniture. Many of the windows had been sealed shut for years, requiring careful freeing and repair to restore functionality. As part of the refurbishment, we also installed internal secondary glazing panels and fitted mirrors in all 120 apartments. The project was successfully completed over several weeks, revitalising the building’s appearance and functionality.
